My Acting Adoration Revelation came in the throes of high school, when I played Ma Kirby in Thornton Wilder’s The Happy Journey to Trenton and Camden. I initially viewed Ma as a frigid, hypocritical zealot who viciously censored her family. As I investigated Ma, I learned to value her as a multifaceted human worthy of compassion. That empathy inherent to acting - that visceral embrace of another person no matter their demons - got me well and truly hooked.
Fast forward four years, and I was graduating with a major in Drama and English from U.Va., winning the Pettway Prize in Drama, and gleefully zipping to London to study Shakespeare at RADA.
In 2021, I moved to New York, where I now act onstage and onscreen, take classes with some wonderful instructors, and model commercially. (If you've ever wanted to play Cher in "Clueless," you can dress me in various ~glamorous outfits~ in Walmart's Zeekit virtual dressing room!)
