After my kindergarten stage-fish foray, my Acting Adoration Revelation came in high school, when I played Ma Kirby in Thornton Wilder’s The Happy Journey to Trenton and Camden. I initially viewed Ma as irredeemable: A hypocritical zealot who censored her family to assert control. As I investigated Ma, I learned to cherish her as multifaceted and worthy of compassion. That empathy inherent to acting - that unabashed embrace of another person no matter their demons - got me well and truly hooked.
Fast forward four years: I graduated with a major in Drama and English from U.Va., won the Pettway Prize in Drama, and gleefully zipped to London to study Shakespeare at RADA.
In 2021, I moved to New York, where I now act onstage and onscreen. My most recent favorite role is in Constantin Werner's horror feature, Kobold, to be released in August 2026!
